Saturday, Oct. 19
1:47 a.m.: Officers discovered an intoxicated person on the sidewalk next to Retrievers. The intoxicated person, Andre DeWaine Collins III, 19, Statesboro, Ga., was arrested and charged with Possession of Alcohol – Under 21 Years of Age, False ID and Public Indecency.
1:53 a.m.: Officers responded to Freedom’s Landing in reference to a drug complaint. Four occupants were judicially referred.
2:24 am: Officers made contact with Joey Antonio Abrams, 32, Statesboro, Ga., on Chandler Road riding a stolen bike. Abrams was arrested and charged with Theft by Taking – misdemeanor.
7:14 a.m.: Officers responded to Southern Pines in reference to an intoxicated subject kicking the door. The intoxicated subject, Jamal Marquis Phillips, 18, Statesboro, Ga., was arrested and charged with Possession of Alcohol – Under 21 Years of Age.
11:42 a.m.: A motor vehicle accident report was taken for a motor vehicle accident in the Freedom’s Landing parking lot.
1:09 p.m.: Officers responded to a sick person a Southern Courtyard. EMS responded but did not transport.
4:13 p.m.: Officers responded to the RAC fields in reference to an injured person. EMS responded and transported the injured person.
4:56 p.m.: An incident report was taken for criminal trespass at the Herty Building vehicle gate entry/exit location.
7:43 p.m.: An incident report was taken for an entering auto – unsecured vehicle in the Southern Pines parking lot. This case was assigned to criminal investigations.
10:09 p.m.: Officers responded to Eagle Village in reference to alcohol violations. Ten occupants were judicially referred.
10:22 p.m.: An incident report was taken for found property in the Newton Building parking lot.
Sunday, Oct. 20
12:21 a.m.: Officers responded to J-Lot in reference to an affray. DeLano Joseph Swann, 19, Roswell, Ga., was arrested and charged with Obstruction – misdemeanor.
3:38 a.m.: An incident report was taken for a criminal trespass on a vehicle parked in Lot 11. This case was assigned to criminal investigations.
11:00 a.m.: An incident report was taken for a criminal trespass to a vending machine in Eagle Village. This case was assigned to criminal investigations.
3:40 p.m.: A motor vehicle accident report was taken for a motor vehicle accident – hit and run that occurred at approximately 10:45 am at the Sigma Nu House.
5:05 p.m.: An incident report was taken for found property on Bulloch Street, Statesboro, Ga.
5:05 p.m.: Officers responded to Dining Commons in reference to a sick person. EMS responded but did not transport.
7:12 p.m.: An incident report was taken for an entering auto in C-Lot that occurred between 10/13/2013 – 10/20/2013. This case was assigned to criminal investigations.
11:25 p.m.: A welfare check was conducted at Freedom’s Landing. The subject of the welfare check was contacted and no problems found.
12:14 a.m.: Officers conducted a traffic stop in G-Lot. The driver of the vehicle, Malik Hakeem Robinson, 19, Statesboro, Ga., was arrested and charged with Failure to Obey a Traffic Control Device and Possession of a Weapon in a School Safety Zone – felony.
Monday, Oct. 21
11:14 a.m.: An incident report was taken for a criminal trespass at the Layout Yard on J. Proctor Road.
11:30 a.m.: Officers responded to a sick person at the Newton Building. EMS responded and transported the sick person.
1:06 p.m.: An incident report was taken for harassment at Dining Commons. This case was assigned to criminal investigations.
3:46 p.m.: An incident report was taken for a suspicious incident at Southern Pines Building 4 Laundry Room.
3:58 p.m.: Officers assisted the Statesboro Police Department with a motor vehicle accident at Chandler Road and Knight Drive.
4:28 p.m.: An incident report was taken for a counterfeit $20.00 bill at Deal Hall. This case was assigned to criminal investigations.
4:58 p.m.: Officers responded to a sick person at COBA. EMS responded but did not transport.
7:46 p.m.: Officers responded to a fire alarm at the Foy Building. The alarm was activated due to smoke from burnt popcorn.
7:50 p.m.: An incident report was taken for lost/mislaid property in the Hollis parking lot.
8:42 p.m.: Officers responded to the RAC fields in reference to an injured person. EMS responded and transported the injured person.
9:11 p.m.: Officers responded to Southern Courtyard in reference to a drug complaint. Jourian Kara Atchison, 18, Statesboro, Ga., was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana – misdemeanor and Purchase of a Controlled Substance. Two other occupants were judicially referred.
9:16 p.m.: An incident report was taken for lost/mislaid property at Lakeside Café.
10:15 p.m.: Officers responded to a panic alarm at Einstein’s Bagel Shop. Maintenance responded. Someone pushing on the magnetic door activated the alarm.
11:17 p.m.: Officers responded to a burglar alarm at the Phi Mu House. The alarm was accidently activated by an occupant.
12:00 a.m.: An incident report was taken for lost/mislaid property at the Williams Center.
Tuesday, Oct. 22
12:20 p.m.: An incident report was taken for found property at the School of Human Ecology.
12:28 p.m.: Officers responded to Cone Hall in reference to a sick person. EMS responded but did not transport.
1:13 a.m.: An incident report was taken for lost/mislaid property at Paulson Parking.
4:53 p.m.: An incident report was taken for an entering auto in Lot 33. This case was assigned to criminal investigations.
6:50 p.m.: Officers responded to an injured person at the RAC. EMS responded and transported the injured person.
8:18 p.m.: Officers responded to a verbal altercation at Freedom’s Landing. Housing RDOC was notified and responded. Housing will mediate the problem.
12:20 a.m.: Officers responded to Freedom’s Landing in reference to a verbal altercation. Housing CL was notified and responded. The problem was mediated and one occupant was judicially referred.
12:33 a.m.: Officers responded to a burglar alarm at the Garden of the Coastal Plain Administration Building. The building was checked with no problems found.
1:14 a.m.: Officers made contact with an intoxicated subject outside Centennial Place Building 4. Cullen McHugh Faulkner, 18, Statesboro, Ga., was arrested and charged with Possession of Alcohol – Under 21 Years of Age.
