The Georgia Southern University volleyball team wrapped up this weekend’s matches with another win against the Samford University Bulldogs 3-1.

Senior outside hitter Nicole Jeschelnik led the Eagles with 19 kills and junior outside hitter Jamie DeRatt came in close behind with 16 kills.

The Eagles and Bulldogs went toe-to-toe in the first set, with the Bulldogs winning 27-25. After the first set, the Bulldogs gave it their best try, but the Eagles were ready to play winning the next three sets 25-23, 25-15, and 25-16.

After the two wins this weekend, the Eagles (21-3, 9-1 SoCon) are on a roll, stretching the winning streak to six games. Next Friday, GSU will face Furman again for a rematch.
