September 24, 2013
On Tuesday Oct. 8, Campus Recreation & Intramurals and Zeta Tau Alpha will host two sessions of Pilates for Pink, a charity event designed to raise money and promote breast cancer awareness, according to a news release.
These sessions will be comprised of five classes, and will last from 5:30-6:45 p.m. and 7:00-8:15 p.m.
Each session will have a theme that goes along with the type of exercise the group fitness class is doing, such as the cycling class Spin to Save 2nd Base.
The five classes offered include: sculpting, cycling, yoga, Zumba and core strengthening.
Regularly scheduled group fitness classes will be canceled after 4:30 p.m., according to the news release.
Non-RAC members must pay a fee of $5 to attend. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Statesboro-Bulloch County Breast Cancer Foundation.
