Women’s soccer results in scoreless game
September 14, 2013
Missed opportunities on the offensive end lead to a scoreless draw for the Georgia Southern University women’s soccer team in tonight’s match against Charleston Southern University.
The Eagles held a huge 18-3 edge in shot attempts and maintained possession of the ball for the majority of the game, but failed to capitalize on numerous scoring opportunities.
“We’ve got to be aware of our surroundings, when we can take a touch then shoot as opposed to when we’re under pressure and have to shoot quickly,” head coach Brian Dunleavy said.
The Eagles will travel to Macon to take on Mercer University next Sunday at 6 p.m.
