Beginning Sept. 3, Georgia Southern University students can pick up one ticket for “An Evening with Laura Bush,” which will be held on Sept. 12 at 7 p.m. in Hanner Fieldhouse.

“Tickets will be available in the Office of Student Leadership and Civic Engagement through Sept. 10,” Jodi Kennedy, associate director of the OSLCE, said.

Students will receive one ticket when they present their Eagle IDs.

“We have about 5,000 tickets,” Kennedy said.

Faculty and staff tickets will be distributed on Sept. 5-6 at the OSLCE and can pick up two tickets when they present their IDs.

No tickets will be given at the door, Kennedy said.

Community members wishing to attend can pick up two tickets on Sept. 9-10 at Hanner Fieldhouse, the GSU City Campus or the Coastal Georgia Center in Savannah.

Kennedy said, “I think that [Bush] will encourage students to be a part of something bigger than themselves.”
