SGA voting to be held next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

STATESBORO — The reimagined and consolidated student government association (SGA) will be conducting voting for the new year Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.

Voting will take place online starting Monday at 10 a.m. and run until Wednesday at 5 p.m. Ballots will be emailed to all students on all three days to remind them to vote.

“It’s important that students know that every student can vote,” said Ken Gassiot, Ph.D., associate vice president for student engagement. “It’s important that students that students put in their opinion, their voice for who their representatives are, and then staying engaged in the process.”

Aside from voting, the ballots will also include a section where students can let SGA know what they’re passionate about and even sign up to serve on a committee.

Results of the election will be announced Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Russell Union.
