Despite the low crowd attendance, Georgia Southern took down App State during Blue Out Night in an 83-77 win.
1st Quarter: App State scored the points of the game with a 3-pointer while the Eagles answered back with back to back scores from Simone James, Ja’Nya Love-Hill and Terren Ward

- James gave the eagles their first points with a lay-up in the paint followed by a 2-point jumper from Love-Hill
- Ward gave the Eagles their 3rd basket in a row with another 2-point jumper
- The Eagles scored again twice before App State could make another basket,
- Eagles entered the 2nd quarter up by 6 points, 17-11
2nd Quarter: GS went into halftime leading by 11, 39-28
- App state scored the first basket in the 2nd quarter followed by two free throws from Simone James.
- App State and GS scored back to back but the Eagles stayed in the lead with no problem.
- Ward, Eden Johnson, Love-Hill and James all contributed to the Eagles lead
3rd Quarter: GS lead by as many as 17 points in the 2nd half
- Eagles again kept their lead throughout the 3rd quarter ending leading by 14
4th Quarter: Terren Ward racked a season high of 35 points and 11 rebounds
- Simone James had 16 points and 4 rebounds
- Ja’Nya Love-Hill finished with 10 points and 5 rebounds
