Bulloch Country Sheriff’s Office issues a curfew in response to Hurricane Irma

UPDATE 09/11: Curfew in Bulloch County to end Tuesday Sept. 12 at 6 a.m. 

The Bulloch County Sheriff’s office has issued out at curfew that will begin Sunday, Sept.10 at 11 p.m. and extending until proclamation by the Sheriff that the order is lifted.

According to a press release issued by the Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office, only emergency response vehicles will be allowed on the road during the time of the curfew with the exception of those who have entered Bulloch county for the purpose of evacuation.

The Bulloch county’s sheriff’s office is asking citizens to remain away from public streets and other public areas and to stay home.

Those who refuse to cooperate with the curfew could face consequences according to Jasmine Little, Bulloch County officer.

According to Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, Sheriff Noel Brown hopes that all Bulloch County citizens will adhere to this order so that public safety personnel can do their job safely without the added stress of people on the roads.
