Calvin Wishart has decided to transfer to the University of Califonira Santa Barbara men’s basketball team. 

Wishart put his name in the transfer portal a week ago after the depature of former coach Mark Byington and the hiring of new Head Coach Brian Burg.

“After very careful consideration and after discussing all of the great options with my family and the people within my circle,” he wrote on his personal Twitter account. “ I am extremely excited to announce my commitment to the University of California Santa Barbara. Go Gauchos! Ready to get to work.”

Wishart will be joining the Gauchos who are fresh off a season where they went 21-10 and finished 2nd in the Big West conference.
