ROTC program to host inaugural Freedom Run

The Georgia Southern ROTC Program to host the inaugural Freedom Run 5K/10K race on Saturday, April 25 at 8 a.m. at the Recreation Activity Center (RAC) Pavilion.

The event is in support of the Folds of Honor Foundation, a scholarship program for families of fallen or disabled members of the US Military.

“The run is in support of the Folds of Honor Foundation which provides scholarships to family members of fallen service men and women, and funds will also be raised for the ROTC program.” CPT Rob Gracia, assistant professor of Military Science and Executive Officer, said. “We look forward to seeing participants of all ages at this event that will benefit two great causes in the community.”

Registration for the Freedom Run is $30 for the 5K and $35 for the 10K until April 24. Discounts are available for teams. Ticket purchases will include a Freedom Run T-shirt and a bib for the race of your choice. Registration will be available for $40 on race day.
