Statesboro Police Department is currently investigating a reported sexual assault at Somerset Apartments around midnight on October 2.
The offender forced his way into the resident’s home and sexually assaulted the victim. The offender is described as a white male between 5’8” and 6’0” in height, according to an email from the Dean of Students.
SPD encourages people to be vigilant when answering the door for an unexpected person.
