Visitors to the Georgia Southern Center for Wildlife Education can now watch programs featuring many members of our local wildlife now that its daily programs have been resumed after a hiatus though the pandemic.

There are currently two themes for the programs: “Birds of Prey”, which features hawks, owls and other birds of prey, and “Wild About Wildlife”, which features various snakes and reptiles, both venomous and nonvenomous, birds and amphibians.

The daily programs will take place in the wildlife center pavilion. Each half-hour daily program begins at 3:30 p.m. on weekdays. Previous COVID-19 guidelines still apply within the center, requiring masks along with proper social distancing when possible.

Single admission fees have remained the same for adults at $4, and children between the ages of 3-11, military and seniors’ admission remains $2. Additional information about showings can be found on their website.
