  • The Evans County Wildlife Club held the 55th annual Rattlesnake Round-up in Claxton, Georgia, only 30 minutes from Statesboro.

  • Claxton First Church hosted and helped with the video and live-steam on Facebook.

  • This year’s Grand Marshall was Quinn Tanner, a Claxton local and Georgia Southern alum.

  • The Georgia Department of Natural Resources hosted a booth to educate attendees on local wildlife, including live alligators, frogs, turtles, and snakes.

  • A mini version of the Evans County courthouse made it’s way into the parade as well.

  • The parade included this float with a giant Rattlesnake and a catcher’s tool.

  • Chris Rucker is putting on a wood carving show for attendees and selling the finished products.

  • Georgia Southern alum, Kassidee Brantley, is looking at all the different snakes in a walk through.

  • Who needs Build-A-Bear when you have Create-A-Pal right here at the festival? Kids lined up to stuff their new friends!

  • There were plenty of guns, clothes, and toys, but one booth was selling knifes too.

  • Attendee’s lined up outside of the club to get hamburgers and fries. Behind the scenes, we see how many cool at a time to satisfy all the people.
