The Evans County Wildlife Club held the 55th annual Rattlesnake Round-up in Claxton, Georgia, only 30 minutes from Statesboro.
Claxton First Church hosted and helped with the video and live-steam on Facebook.
This year’s Grand Marshall was Quinn Tanner, a Claxton local and Georgia Southern alum.
The Georgia Department of Natural Resources hosted a booth to educate attendees on local wildlife, including live alligators, frogs, turtles, and snakes.
A mini version of the Evans County courthouse made it’s way into the parade as well.
The parade included this float with a giant Rattlesnake and a catcher’s tool.
Chris Rucker is putting on a wood carving show for attendees and selling the finished products.
Georgia Southern alum, Kassidee Brantley, is looking at all the different snakes in a walk through.

There were plenty of guns, clothes, and toys, but one booth was selling knifes too.
