Yeehaw! The buckin barbeque competition was last week.
Fraternities, sororities and campus organizations set up tailgates.
Each group grilled chicken for the judges of the competition.
They had hotdogs and snacks available for everyone else.
This is another one of the great events during homecoming week.
There was camaraderie from all groups throughout the tailgate.

“ I really do enjoy it, I like the fellowship with my organization, as well as see everybody with the different spirits.”
There was music at the tailgate and each group had a game set up at the respective tents.
The tables were decorated and had great presentations.
The rotunda was packed with people throughout the day.
Judges tried some delicious juicy chicken towards the end of the event.
Tyler Coffman is excited for homecoming.
“it was really good, we have about 300 different people here from sororities and fraternities. Getting people engaged on campus for homecoming king and queen I think it’s a really cool event. I am very excited for this football game on Saturday. We’re going to pack it out. It is a really important football game to get to 4 and 2.”
Homecoming is a busy week on campus.
There are fun events every day.
The students will attend the football game to see who won homecoming king and queen.
