With something known as the Big Kat Buggy, a Statesboro entrepreneur by the name of Kevin Rackleff is headed to the Sports Licensing and Tailgate Show this weekend at the world famous Las Vegas Convention Center.

Presented January 24th through the 26th in Las Vegas, the Sports Licensing and Tailgate Show is a premier trade show for businesses and organizations involved in sports-licensed products. Those in attendance have the opportunity to see more than 300 different exhibiting companies represent everyday products through professional and collegiate leagues such as the National Hockey League and the NBA.

Rackleff, 44, founder and president of Rackleff Enterprises, will pitch a wagon that mounts to vehicles as a cargo carrier for sporting and outdoor events.

In a business that trucks waste from transfer stations throughout southeast Georgia, it’s no surprise that transporting things on wheels just may be Rackleff’s area

According to the Statesboro Herald, Rackleff first got the idea for a more travel-friendly carriage system after seeing the trouble some people went through unloading and loading back their cars at sporting and tailgating events. Whether it’s the beach or the ballpark, the Big Kat Buggy makes it easier for patrons to transport hassling items such as chairs, coolers, tents, and sports equipment by fitting it all in a street-safe, retractable wagon that can mount to suitable vehicles.

Along with his Big Kat Buggy, Rackleff will also be showing off several accessories such as fishing rod holders, cargo nets, and cup holders.

Rackleff is one of three product developers that will be going head-to-head in a live “The Big Pitch” competition where the winner wins a slot in a 30-minute televised segment on the Fox Business channel.
