Georgia Southern’s department of writing and linguistics is offering students a chance to win $100 by entering their work into the 2015 Roy Powell Awards writing competition.

Those who wish to enter are allowed to submit three poems, one short story, and/or one creative nonfiction piece.

In addition to the prize money, all original submitted pieces have the opportunity to be published in the Miscellany as well as receive recognition at Honors Day.

All entries must be emailed to enelson@georgiasouthern.edu by 4p.m. on Monday, February 23. Winners will be notified by March 10.
