Finals Week Comfort Foods

Finals+Week+Comfort+Foods

The dreaded time is almost over, and if your GPA has you already crying in Club Hendy, then it is time to eat your feelings while studying. Here are five comfort foods to get you through the end of the semester:

1. Mac and Cheese

Whether you get Kraft that you can heat up in the microwave or you like your fancy cheeses, mac and cheese will always soothe your soul. You get extra points if you add more cheese than what the recipe suggests!

2. Fried Chicken

It does not matter if it is from Popeye’s or Chick-Fil-A. In nugget form or chicken fingers, fried chicken will help your feelings like no other food can.

3. Pasta

When in doubt, eat the pasta. It does not matter if you go all the way to Olive Garden, or you cry into your Ramen. Pasta is the way to make yourself feel a little better.

4. French Fries

Waffle, crinkle, steak, curly; we don’t discriminate with our fries in times of crisis. The point is getting them all in your tummy before someone asks you to share.

5. ANY KIND OF DESSERT

Listen to your sweet tooth’s wildest desires. Now is the time to YOLO your diet. (Pro tip: if you don’t have time to make a whole cake, mug desserts are the way to go.)
Remember, life is short, and your academic career could be over as you know it. Now is the time to succumb to your cravings and throw that diet out the window. You can work on your beach body after finals. May the odds be ever in your favor!
