Throughout the week, the Georgia Southern University Programming Board will be putting on a variety of events to celebrate Homecoming Week.

Tuesday:

The university will host it’s annual Doo-Dah Dance and Step Show at 7 p.m. at Hanner Fieldhouse. Student organizations will compete in Doo-Dah, dance and step categories.

Thursday:

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, student organizations will be crafting their own UFOs at the Area 1906 Tailgate competition. The competition will take place in the Russell Union Ballroom.

Friday:

The annual Homecoming Parade will begin at 4 p.m. on Friday, making it’s way from Lot 42 to Sweetheart Circle. To conclude the week’s activities, the Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned at halftime of Georgia Southern’s game against Georgia State.

From the 25th to the 28th, students will be able to vote for who they believe should be crowned Homecoming King and Queen in addition to Duke and Duchess. Students can vote here.

Students will also have until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday to submit pictures of their “True Blue” pets through social media, using the #GSTrueBluePets and tagging @GSUPB.
