The Georgia Southern Baseball Stadium, J.J Clements is in the process of securing the money for a 10 million dollar renovation.
What’s happening? The stadium will feature some new amenities such as, a new locker room for the players, a new team meeting space, nutrition areas, players lounge, improved batting cages and pitching mounds and much more.
- Head Coach Rodney Hennon believes these upgrades will benefit player development. The fans will also benefit from this new stadium and will have the opportunity to rent sections right behind the players, where they can interact with them and have an up close experience at the game.
- There will also be an area where fans can grill out and socialize on a patio area. “I think all of these new additions will add to the gameday experience,” said Coach Hennon.
What’s next? The stadium will be funded by private donations and so far a little over two million dollars has been secured. They hope to start renovations at the end of the baseball season, but it is to be determined until all money is secured.
