No SAT/ACT scores required for 2020 first-year applicants
After standardized testing dates were canceled due to the spread of coronavirus, the University System of Georgia approved first-year admissions without SAT/ACT scores.

STATESBORO — First-year students applying for Georgia Southern University’s summer and fall semesters this year will not need an SAT or ACT score for admission.
So long as applicants have a sufficiently high GPA, they can be admitted to the university, according to a GS press release.
College Board, the organization that owns the SAT, has canceled test dates due to the spread of COVID-19, and the ACT has rescheduled test dates.
The omission of the SAT/ACT requirement was authorized by the University System of Georgia, according to the press release, and students will need to meet all other admission requirements.
