Men’s soccer falls to Wofford 3-0

The Georgia Southern University men’s soccer team lost to the Wofford College Terriers in a 3-0 shut out earlier tonight.

Matthew Aurednik was the leading scorer for the Terriers, scoring the first two out of the three goals.  Forrest Lasso scored the last one, heading it in off a throw-in.

The Eagle’s tried to keep up with the Terriers in shots with five shots-on-goals compared to Wofford’s seven.

Senior Witt Carlisle was the leading shooter with three shots-on-goals for GSU, but could not get it in the net.

The Eagles next match is Friday at 5 p.m. vs Georgia State University.
