Georgia Southern women’s basketball announced its conference schedule this week. After acquiring a 2-16 Sun Belt record last year, Athletic Director Tom Kleinlein tabbed coach Anita Howard to redirect the women’s program. 

The conference will continue with the 18-game schedule set into place four seasons ago.

GS will open conference competition in the shadow of the new year, welcoming ULM into Hanner on Jan. 2. 

GS will welcome Louisiana, one of the two teams Sun Belt teams they beat last season, two days later and will host rivals Georgia State and App State Jan. 25 and Feb. 22, respectively. GS will primarily play games Thursdays through Saturdays and will announce tipoff times and out of conference contests at a later date. The full schedule can be viewed below.
