Ever wanted to conduct a tour for Georgia Southern University? Look no further because the Southern Ambassadors want you. Southern Ambassadors are students that represent Georgia Southern University on campus tours, special recruiting events (open house), high school college day programs and alumni programs.

“We work close with the office of admissions to attract perspective students,” Ryan Stewart, senior history major, said.

As a Southern Ambassador, one should always be encouraged and enthusiastic about GSU. Sign up sheets are at the Rotunda until 2 p.m. Perspective students will have to fill out an application with the director in the Office of Admissions. If chosen, students will give a mock tour around Sweetheart Circle to other Southern Ambassadors.

“It’s a lot of fun and it looks great on your resume,” Stewart said.

Southern Ambassadors will hold interest meetings next week.
