Georgia Southern’s freshman Noah Ledford was selected to the Collegiate Baseball News Freshman All American team.

Ledford, a native of Buford, Georgia, finished the season with 44 runs, 10 doubles, 11 homers and a .291 batting average in his freshman campaign. Starting a total of 49 games, he quickly found a way into the starting lineup.

The lefty hit the game-winning home run against Auburn to give the Eagles their first victory of the season.

He picked up a season high 10 PO and three runs in the same game against Little Rock at the end of March. In the Sun Belt Championship, Ledford had 2 RBI with his early home run.

Ledford is the first Eagle to win this honor since RHP Seth Shuman in 2017.
