Georgia Southern reports 14 positive COVID-19 cases during tenth week

Report marks decline

STATESBORO — Georgia Southern officials reported a week of decreased positive COVID-19 cases, reporting 14 cases during the tenth week of school.

“The report below reflects that positive case reports remain very low and stable with a decline to 14 of total confirmed (1) and self-reported (13) cases.” said a disclaimer on GS’ reporting website. “We must remain vigilant with our adherence to public health guidelines if we want this trend to continue.”

No cases were reported from employees, the Armstrong campus or from the Liberty campus.
