Rest
Rest, oh faltered skies,
Your bitter time has ceased.
Rotted veils of honor
Fall past habit-painted teeth.
I have only dreamt of falling,
Though my dreaming has been brief.
Rest, oh faltered skies,
Abandon this for sleep.
Rise
Rise, oh cooing seas,
Your idleness was brisk.
Sparkling vows of valor
Shake the coldness from my lips
I have only dreamed of flying,
And my flying has been swift.
Rise, oh cooing seas,
Abandon sleep for this.
