Georgia Southern will be offering free COVID-19 tests to students and faculty with an Eagle ID at the Armstrong Center, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
New students need to acquire a physical form of their Eagle ID to present to the nursing staff to receive their swab. New students who do not have their card or a picture will not be tested.
Those reporting symptoms will receive a rapid antigen test and can expect to receive their results before departing the Armstrong Center. Asymptomatic students will receive a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test and will likely receive their results 24 to 72 hours after receiving their test.
