  • The residents of Bulloch County gathered alongside the streets of Downtown Statsboro to watch the Statesboro parade, on Monday, October 16, 2023.

  • The Statesboro Police patrolling the streets to make sure the road is clear before the parade begins at 5 pm.

  • The Eagle Battalion open the parade by marching and reciting marching chants.

  • The GSU band after preforming Sweet Caroline, while marching down the street.

  • The GSU color guard waving their pompoms and swinging their batons, while the band performs.

  • The GSU dance team waving pompoms and cheering in the parade.

  • The GSU cheerleaders performing a cheer while cheering on the crowd!

  • Gus walking around and saying hello to the families lined up along the street.

  • The GSU Student Government Association waving to the crowd and showing off there glittery float!

  • The Miss Rattlesnake and Wildlife Queen, Julia Hethcox, waving to the crowd.

  • The Alpha Delta Pi sorority and the Kappa Sigma fraternity parading the candidates for the upcoming GSU King and Queen elections, Parker Hobson and Sydney Lawson.

  • The Chi Omega sorority and the Sigma fraternity parading for the candidates the upcoming GSU King and Queen elections, Brody Thompson and Hope Futral.

  • The QueensBorough National Bank and Trust company displaying a ferris wheel, sunflowers, and a duck mascot on there parade float. The workers cheering and waving throughout the parade!

  • The Statesboro Dance Studio parade float displaying a white, pink, and black float, consisting of the dance students, parents, and coaches.

  • The Office of Student Activities displaying inflatable balloons and colorful figures on their parade float. The people apart of the organization are wearing cowboy hats to go alongside homecoming’s theme of the Wild West.

  • A Red and Black parade float bringing awareness to Red Ribbon Week. The float consists of encouraging writing on the windows for people to see.

  • A parade float consisting of fair tassels, signs, and displays. It’s getting families excited for the upcoming fair!

  • The Splash in the Boro water park displayed there life guards and water droplet mascot.
