Georgia Southern’s Planetarium is hosting a Led Zeppelin night with two shows on Thursday, May 1, and Friday, May 2. Showtimes will be 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. on both nights.
Planetarium Coordinator, Dillon Marcy, shares that attendees will be witnessing “Led Zeppelin’s greatest hits with stunning visuals such as ‘Kashmir,’ ‘Stairway to Heaven,’ ‘Immigrant Song,’ ‘Black Dog,’ and more.”
According to Marcy, this state-of-the-art and recently upgraded planetarium now has the Digistar 7 software system and uses two relatively new projectors, named Luke and Leia, to project dazzling images onto the hemispherical dome, ensuring an immersive, quality experience. Marcy advises attendees to “Turn off their brains, and enjoy the spectacle!”
The Planetarium is located in the Math and Physics building, and accommodates up to 68 people, with 63 seats and wheelchair accessibility spaces.
This is the last show of the semester, so make sure to pay a visit!
