Society for Human Resource Management had their first bake sale of the semester.
SHRM is an organization for students with an interest in Personnel Administration. On Tuesday, Nov. 11, they held a bake sale to help raise funds for their organization.
Hannah Tidwell spoke a little bit about how this bake sale helps their organization.
“We like to do incentives for our members, and we like to do incentive kinds of things, or honestly, kind of get our meetings going. Yeah, the resources we need, and also this kind of helps us, and we’re also wanting to grow.”
The proceeds also go towards their travel fund, which allows members to travel to competitions,
tour business, and other related activities.
Azehia, another member of this organization, said about the event.
“Just come out and support and really just see what we are about.”
