Wednesday, Nov. 7 

3:11 p.m.: Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident in the Plant Commuter parking lot.

4:03 p.m.: Officers assisted Statesboro Police Department with a motor vehicle accident on Chandler Road.

4:42 p.m.: A wallet was reported lost/mislaid near the College of Education.

5:22 p.m.: Officers responded to an alarm at the Center for Art and Theater.  The alarm company was working on the alarm.

8:40 p.m.: Officers aided a sick person at Hanner Fieldhouse.  EMS was called to the scene.

9:23 p.m.: A hit and run motor vehicle accident was reported in Parking Lot 11.

Thursday, Nov. 8

10:19 a.m.: An officer responded to a motor vehicle accident at the Center for Art and Theater.  A motor vehicle accident report was completed.

12:24 p.m.: An officer took an incident report for a theft at the Information Technology Building.  This case was turned over to criminal investigations.

1:19 p.m.: An officer took an incident report for lost/mislaid property at Freedom’s Landing.

1:59 p.m.: An officer took an incident report for harassment at Southern Courtyard.  This case was turned over to criminal investigations.

7:26 p.m.: An officer responded to the Center for Art and Theater for a burglar alarm.  An employee accidentally activated the alarm.

10:38 p.m.: Officers responded to Freedom’s Landing in reference to a drug complaint.  Two occupants were judicially referred.

12:26 a.m.: Officers conducted a traffic stop on Olympic Boulevard.  The driver of the vehicle, Cameron D’Wayne Simmons, 23, was arrested and charged with failure to maintain lane and driving under the influence – refusal 2nd offense.

Friday, Nov. 9

9:44 a.m.: An officer responded to University Villas in reference to an injured person.  EMS was notified and responded.  The injured person declined transport by EMS.

12:33 p.m.: An officer responded to a burglar alarm at the Alpha Delta Pi house on Olympic Boulevard.  Contact was made with an occupant who advised they were having troubles with the alarm system.

2:21 p.m.: An officer responded to a motor vehicle accident on Maleki Drive near the water tower.  A motor vehicle accident report was completed.

3:43 p.m.: An incident report was taken for a theft at the RAC.  This case was turned over to criminal investigations.

4:32 p.m.: An incident report was taken for a theft at the RAC Field Support building.  This case was turned over to criminal investigations.

5:35 p.m.: An incident report was taken for lost/mislaid property on one of the shuttle buses.

7:10 p.m.: An officer responded to a motor vehicle accident – hit and run at Southern Courtyard. A motor vehicle accident report was completed.

8:37 p.m.: Officers responded to a fire alarm at Eagle Village.  Maintenance was notified and responded.  The fire alarm was activated by steam from a shower.

9:24 p.m.: Officers assisted Statesboro Police with an incident at University Pines.

11:09 p.m.: An officer responded to the Registrar’s Office in reference to a panic alarm.  Maintenance was notified and responded.  The building was checked with no problems found.

1:30 p.m.: Criminal Investigations made an arrest of, Betty Edge, 68, for Theft by Deception – misdemeanor and forgery 1st Degree – felony.

Saturday, Nov. 10

12:20 a.m.: Officers responded to Eagle Village breezeway in reference to a sick person. EMS was notified, responded and transported the sick person.

6:52 a.m.: An officer responded to a panic alarm at Freedom’s Landing.  Maintenance was notified and responded.  The panic alarm was a malfunction.

11:10 a.m.: An officer responded to a motor vehicle accident – hit and run at C/E/J Lot.  A motor vehicle accident report was completed.

12:30 p.m.: An officer responded to Lot 21 in reference to a motor vehicle accident.  A motor vehicle accident report was completed.

2:02 p.m.: An officer responded to Freedom’s Landing in reference to a motor vehicle accident – hit and run.  A motor vehicle accident report was completed.

1:26 p.m.: Two vehicles were towed from Paulson Parking.

2:13 p.m.: An officer responded to Centennial Place in reference to a motor vehicle accident.  A motor vehicle accident report was completed.

3:30 p.m.: An incident report was taken for found property at Allen E. Paulson Stadium.

7:05 p.m.: An officer responded to a suspicious person/activity at the Lakeside Café construction site.

7:20 p.m.: An incident report was taken for found property at Paulson Stadium.

7:34 p.m.: An incident report was taken for lost/mislaid property at Paulson Stadium.

8:10 p.m.: An officer responded to Southern Pines in reference to a drug complaint. One occupant was judicially referred.

8:15 p.m.: Officers conducted a traffic stop on Lanier Drive at Paulson Stadium.  The driver was found to be a wanted person out of the City of Hinesville.  The driver was transported to the Bulloch County Jail and held for the Hinesville Police Department.

9:03 p.m.: An officer responded to the Center for Art and Theatre in reference to a burglar alarm.  The building was checked with no problems found.

9:36 p.m.: An incident report was taken for a theft at the Sigma Chi house on Olympic Boulevard.  This case was turned over to criminal investigations.

10:46 p.m.: An incident report was taken for a theft that occurred at the PAC.  This case was turned over to criminal investigations.

11:16 p.m.: Officers conducted a welfare check at Freedom’s Landing.

Sunday, Nov. 11

1:06 a.m.: An officer responded to an intoxicated person at Kennedy Hall.  EMS was notified, responded and transported the intoxicated person.

1:55 a.m.: Officers responded to Southern Pines in reference to a fire alarm.  An investigation resulted in the arrest of Dorian Chiconia Addison, 19. Ms. Addison was charged with Possession of Alcohol – Under 21 Years of Age and Transmitting a False Alarm.

4:31 a.m.: Officers responded to Southern Courtyard in reference to a verbal altercation.  Two occupants were judicially referred.

9:28 a.m.: An officer responded to Freedoms Landing in reference to a fire alarm.  Maintenance was notified and responded. A check of the building revealed no problems found.

1:54 p.m.: An incident report was taken for a theft at Southern Pines.  This case was turned over to criminal investigations.

3:11 p.m.: An incident report was taken for a theft at the Botanical Gardens.  This case was turned over to criminal investigations.

4:49 p.m.: An incident report was taken for a theft at the RAC.  This case was turned over to criminal investigations.

8:12 p.m.: An incident report was taken for a theft at Southern Pines.  This case was turned over to criminal investigations.

9:51 p.m.: An incident report was taken for found property at COBA.

10:01 p.m.: Officers responded to Eagle Village in reference to a panic alarm.  An investigation revealed five unknown subjects entered the room without consent, physically assaulted several occupants and took their cellular phones.  This case was turned over to criminal investigations.

12:06 a.m.: An officer responded to Freedom’s Landing in reference to a fire alarm.  Maintenance was notified and responded. The building was checked with no problems found.  Maintenance advised the alarm was a malfunction due to an interruption in Internet connection.

12:25 a.m.: An officer responded to Centennial Place in reference to an alcohol violation.  Four occupants were judicially referred.
