Projects and Office Moves Around Our Campus

Several major projects around campus have temporarily caused some offices to move.

What’s new: Common GS facilities are under construction. 

Williams Center second floor renovations are scheduled to begin this fall. The Office of Student Activities will remain in its current second floor location, but the following offices have relocated temporarily: 

  • Eagle Essentials Food Pantry is in the Forest Drive Building
  • Student Media is in the Forest Drive Building
  • Office of Career and Professional Development is in the Forest Drive Building
  • Office of Advising Leadership is in the Watson Commons
  • First and Second Year Experience offices are in Kennedy Hall
  • Exploratory Advising is in the Watson Commons

 

  • University Villas and its associated parking lots are closed. The buildings are being demolished and the area will be turned into additional parking.
  • Jack and Ruth Ann Hill Convention is currently in design and construction is scheduled to take place in December on the South Campus 
  • Anthony Tippins Family Athletics Indoor Practice Facility construction is underway and with scheduled completion in Spring 2023. 
  • Extension of Akins Blvd to connect to Lanier Drive construction will begin this fall.
