Georgia Southern University is hosting an Archery Date Night at the Shooting Sports and Education Center April 20.

Archery Date Night is a beginner’s archery night for shooters that want to learn new skills while having fun with their significant other. IIt starts at 6:30 and ends at 8:00 and costs $30 per student couple and $40 for public couples.

Students will learn proper grip, aim, how to release an arrow, and how to score successfully.

“I would love to take my girlfriend to archery date night. It seems pretty interesting and I’ve never done it before.” Terran Tucker, senior, multi-media film production major, said. “It kind of reminds me of playing cupid with someone you care about.”

to attend, you must register at the SSEC five days before the event and be 16 years or older.
