Student Organization Renewal Season is Here

The 2023-2024 student organization renewal season has begun and will extend until August 2023. 

What’s happening: In order to renew, the organization must achieve the minimum number of WINGS points (Statesboro: 30 points and Armstrong: 20 points) by Friday, March 31.

  • To check org points click here.
  • A workshop must be attended by an incoming president and an additional student leader. These workshops will be held in March and April 2023.
  • These two individuals must complete an officer agreement and post-test.
  • The incoming president should register the organization via Eagle Engage.
  • The org Advisor must complete the Primary Advisor agreement and post test.

What’s new: GS will transition to EMS, a new event scheduling platform. EMS will go into effect on Tuesday, April 11. 

  • EMS can be accessed through MyGS account to reserve spaces on campus.

What’s next: There are training dates for the EMS system. 

  • Thursday, April 6 at 11:30a.m. – 12:30p.m.
  • Thursday, April 6 at 3p.m. – 4p.m.
  • Wednesday, April 12 at 1p.m. – 2p.m.
