In honor of American Heart Month, Health Services and Eagle Dining have teamed up to bring Georgia Southern University students a Valentine’s Heart-Healthy Cooking Demonstration on Feb. 14 at the Nessmith-Lane Building.

At the event, starting at 6 p.m., Executive Chef Michael Price and chef Anthony Finash will show students how to make their own heart-healthy dinner and much more, according to the GS events calendar.

“Students will learn how to prepare the heart healthy meal, serve-safe techniques and cooking safety, as well as the nutritional benefits of each ingredient,” Health Promotion Coordinator Gemma Skuraton said. “Giveaways for the event include a heart-healthy cookbook.”

Only 75 participants are able to attend this event so sign up. Reserve your seat by clicking here.
