Special election held to fill GA congressman Tom Price’s seat

Georgia’s sixth congressional district is holding a special election to replace Tom Price, the former House of Representative, who now serves as the United States Secretary of Health and HumanServices.

The sixth congressional district consists of the northern suburbs of Atlanta which includes eastern Cobb County, northern Fulton County and northern DeKalb County.

According to ballotpedia.org, this election will be the second congressional election to occur since the 2016 elections.

Important Dates:

March 20, 2017 is the last day to register to vote for all persons who live in the 6 th district.

March 27, 2017 is the first day of early vote.

April 18, 2017 is election day.
