The Complete History of Comedy

Everyone loves a good laugh and the Performing Arts Center at Georgia Southern University is presenting an evening of laughter through The Reduced Shakespeare Company performance, The Complete History of Comedy.

This performance will cover comedy through the ages, starting with Aristophanes, the Greek master of laughs, Shakespeare, Vaudeville, Charlie Chaplin, and The Daily Show. The Performing Arts Center (PAC) will be hosting The Reduced Shakespeare Company on September 26 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available now in the PAC Box Office or on the PAC website. Tickets for Georgia Southern students are $10, and for Georgia Southern faculty and staff are $19. All other patron’s tickets are $22.

The Reduced Shakespeare Company is comedy troupe of three men that lead the audience through sketches that explore what makes people laugh. They have performed many places around the world, including London’s West End, the White House, and Off-Broadway.
