Georgia Southern University running back Torrance Hunt has been suspended indefinitely from competition on the football team for a violation of team and university rules.

Hunt is third on the team in rushing with 172 yards and has scored a touchdown in every game this season.

“It is a great honor and privilege for any student-athlete to represent this University,” Athletic Director Tom Kleinlein said. “We expect all of our student-athletes to live up to the high standards that come with being a student-athlete.”
