What is Fashion Menagerie Club?

Fashion Menagerie Club is a club associated with Georgia Southern’s Fashion Merchandising and Design program and aims to be a safe space with different activities for all fashion lovers.

The club calls itself a “menagerie” because of the gathering of all different people and individuals’ fashion styles like lolita, gothic, street style, and more.

“It’s a place to express me and explore my individuality as a fashion designer and a fashion enthusiast,” club president Jess Harrison said. “A place to feel welcome. A safe space to go once a week and hang out with people and explore my style,”

Throughout the semester, club members participate in activities like Goodwill thrifting trips, fashion shows, DIY nights, photoshoots, and fundraisers, and more.

Interested in joining?

Fashion Menagerie Club has no membership fees and meets once a week on Thursdays at 6:00pm in the Interdisciplinary Building, Room 2025. If you’re looking for leadership opportunities, the club currently has officer positions available.

Anyone regardless of major, skill level, or fashion knowledge is invited to join.

Be on the lookout for an upcoming Bridgerton Tea Party and Fashion Show. Club members and students are invited to dress up in Bridgerton style to enjoy a tea party and historical clothing fashion show.
