Here’s what’s coming up in GS athletics
GS senior forward Sarah Price and the women’s soccer team have two matches this weekend, against South Alabama and Arkansas State.

With the football game next Wednesday, all eyes can focus on numerous other Georgia Southern sports teams competing this weekend.
Women’s Tennis
The Eagles will play their first event of the fall season at home at the Wallis Tennis Center, starting on Friday and running through Sunday, Oct. 1.
Women’s Soccer
The Eagles have two home matches this weekend, beginning with South Alabama on Friday at 7 p.m.
Arkansas State will pay Eagle Field a visit as well with the game time set for this Sunday at 12 p.m.
Volleyball
The volleyball team has won two matches in a row and improved its record to 4-8.
This weekend, they will welcome conference rivals Troy and South Alabama to Hanner Fieldhouse.
The match against Troy is on Friday night at 7:30 p.m., while the South Alabama matchup is Saturday night at the same time.
Women’s Golf
Next Monday, Oct. 2, the women’s golf team will play its third event of the fall season, The Jacksonville Classic.
The event will run through next Tuesday, and the George-Anne will provide updates as it progresses.
