Fall Family Weekend: Block Party

GS vs Louisiana-Lafayette

When: Saturday, September 28 6:00-9:00 p.m.

Where: Allen E. Paulson Stadium

Grab some friends and get in the Georgia Southern spirit this Saturday! The Eagles are facing off against the Ragin’ Cajuns and tackling for a cure.

Real Eagles Don’t Haze

When: Tuesday, September 24 6:00-7:30 p.m.

Where: Russell Union Theatre

Organization credit: 4 points (two members per organization must attend)

If you’re part of a student organization, listen up! Sponsored by the Office of Student Activities’ Organization Leadership Consultants and Fraternity and Sorority Life’s National PanHellenic Council, this event will show you how to prevent hazing in your organization–as well as provide resources for students in hazing situations.

When: Wednesday, September 25 7:30-8:30 p.m.

Where: Recreational Activity Center

Get fit with this semester-long program! No registration is required, and you’ll be instructed by two nationally certified Personal Trainers. All female students, faculty and staff who are RAC members are encouraged to come!

Latin Moves: Salsa and Bachata Dance Lessons

When: Thursday, September 26 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Where: Group Workout Room, Recreational and Wellness Center, Savannah, Georgia

Bring a partner and learn some hot dance moves! The Office of Multicultural Affairs hosts instructors from Fit912Savannah. Salsa and Bachata, two popular Latinx dance forms originating from Cuba and the Dominican Republic respectively.
