Spring Break is probably the most anticipated break away from school besides the end of the semester. This is the one time during the spring semester where we get to have a week off from school and tons homework. We’re literally waiting with anticipation for that last day of class before spring break so we can meet up with our friends and make endless memories.
Need a place to go to over break? Well look no further! Listed below are five amazing, budget-friendly options for college students.

Beaufort, South Carolina

Distance: 1 hour 44 min [from Statesboro]
Beaufort is the place to go if you’re looking for that small town yet big city feel. Plan a visit to the Hunting Island State Park Lighthouse to overlook the city of Beaufort, head over to the beach with a few friends for a quick swim or check out Hunting Island State Park.

St. Simon’s Island

Distance: 1 hour 56 min [from Statesboro]
This is a great place to not only spend with friends but also to learn about the history of St. Simons. It is the largest of the four barriers in Georgia’s Golden Isles. The Sea Palms Resort  is a great option for those who are interested in golf or tennis. End the day with your friends over a great bonfire at one of St. Simon’s many beaches.
