NPHC Ribbon Cutting Park Ceremony and Cookout

In the beginning of the event, President Marrero and the President of NPHC Council, Tyree Pryor, cut the ribbon to the new park.

The NPHC held a campaign last semester that raised over $50,000 for the park to be build outside of the Carruth Building.

Even though it was hot and the bugs were invasive, the crowd still stayed to the very end to see D9 stroll and for the food.

All of the fraternities grilled and gave out chicken with different sauces on them.

The Zeta Chi chapter of the Iota Phi Theta were doing one of their step routines in the middle of the crowd.

The Xi Eta chapter of Delta Sigma Theta are strolling to the song Wipe Me Down by Boosie Badazz.

When another song came on, all of the D9 came out to stroll.

Plenty of alumni came to support the event and also strolled to the different songs.

Overall, this event was successful and the NPHC achieved a huge accomplishment.
