This week on the longest never-ending episode of The Bachelor … To Be Continued…

Last week closed with “to be continued,” with tensions between everyone in the house. Everyone is still crazy upset with Peter for 1) letting Alayah come back and 2) giving her a rose (may I mention the group date rose for a date she wasn’t on). So this week opens up on that note. Peter is still scared all the girls are going to leave him, so what does he do? He sends Alayah home before the rose ceremony even begins. Bye, Alayah! See ya never!! (Just kidding see you at the final rose.) After all of that, they continue on with a semi-calm rose ceremony, and Madison, Sydney, Natasha, Lexi, Hannah Ann, Shiann, Mykenna, Victoria P., Kelley and Tammy all get roses.

Let’s Get International!

The girls and Peter are headed off to Costa Rica! Peter is also headed straight into a golf cart. Literally he smashes his head into a golf cart and smashes a glass into his head as well as leaving a pretty attractive gash in his head. They showed the security footage of the whole incident, and I’m not going to lie–it was pretty funny to watch.

First One-on-One

The first one-on-one went to Sydney! What do Peter and Sydney do? They go flying, but don’t worry, pilot Pete took this flight off because they’re in a helicopter. Honestly, it’s a pretty solid date. Sydney uses their dinner together to open up about her struggles growing up biracial with a single mother. Peter, of course, really didn’t reveal anything about himself, but that’s normal, right? Anyway, Sydney leaves the date with a rose.

The Group Date

Yay, time for the first group date, but first Kelsey has an absolute breakdown because being a contestant on “The Bachelor” is just so hard. She decides to drown her sorrows in lots of tears and wine because what else is one supposed to do?

Through all her hardships Kelsey heads out on the group date with Shiann, Victoria F., Madison, Natasha, Victoria P., Lexi, Hannah Ann, Tammy and Mykenna. I don’t know how I feel about this date. I don’t know how I feel about this date. It was a Cosmopolitan bikini photoshoot and the winner gets a cover shot with Peter. This really isn’t a date where you get to know Peter, but, hey, you might be on the cover of Cosmopolitan. The best way to win the cover shot for Cosmopolitan can be taught by Victoria F.–all you have to is spontaneously make out with Peter! But don’t expect to see it on the newsstands. Cosmopolitan has decided to not move forward with the cover after discovering Victoria F. modeled “White Lives Matter” T-shirts, and that is not a very Cosmo thing to do.

At the cocktail party is where things finally get juicy in this episode! Kelsey is sitting with Peter trying to reaffirm their relationship so she doesn’t have another breakdown, Tammy is off telling everyone about Kelsey’s mental breakdowns and that she is handling it by drowning herself in wine.

Tammy really wants her alone time with Peter to build their relationship so she decides to spend the whole time talking about Kelsey’s “drinking” problem and her unstableness. Tammy is so worried about Kelsey’s state that she tells everyone about it except Kelsey.

When someone tells you that your potential wife has an alcohol problem, you can’t just brush it off. Peter now has to make sure he didn’t miss any red flags with Kelsey. Kelsey’s response to Peter about the accusations was priceless: “Did I cry yesterday? Yes. But did I also drink a bottle of wine? YES.”

Kelsey heads back to the women and asks, “So are we going to talk about who said I was emotionally unstable today?” In which Tammy replied, “You were upset over a bottle of champagne for four days.” Wow, Tammy, hit her where it hurts.

The Second One-on-One 

Kelley is next up for the one-on-one date, and she is so excited! Just kidding, she seems incredibly uninterested in this date and Peter. I mean, come on, Kelley, you could at least pretend to be interested.

Peter is oblivious to her uninterestedness and ends up giving her the date rose.

The Rose Ceremony 

Pre rose ceremony amidst all the drama and accusations against Kelsey (spread by Tammy) about Kelsey having an alcohol problem as well as popping pills. Kelsey takes this drama into her own hands and shows up at Peter’s hotel room to clear her name before anyone has a chance to trash it. After all of that, Peter grabs a rose that just happens to be lying around and gives it to Kelsey.

As the women head into the rose ceremony, they learn that there will be no cocktail party because Peter has made up his mind. Kelsey finally really confronts Tammy about her spreading rumors, and Mykenna keeps doing a weird thing with her mouth.

When it’s time for the rose ceremony, with no cocktail party, Peter is ready. Peter is focused until Tammy pulls him away to clear her name and Mykenna does the same. Eventually, Victoria F., Madison, Natasha, Victoria P. and Mykenna all get roses.

This episode was extremely long, but all for good cause in understanding and deciphering this drama! We’ll see next week if Tammy is still stirring up the drama!
