Students receiving refund checks from Georgia Southern should expect them to come through direct deposit or any other method they have selected in the next week.

To ensure that you are receiving a refund check, students will need to access their MyGS portal and select the “View/ Pay tuition bill” tab. Students can also check for an email from the Bursar Office regarding financial aid refund checks. 

Along with refund checks, some students will receive emails about the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF III) Grant award. Only select students will receive this grant, as it is based on their estimated family contribution like FAFSA.

Recently the Enrollment Office phones having extremely long wait lines, so students are encouraged to visit the enrollment office located in the Rosenwald building in person to talk to a representative.
